剧情介绍：
历经半辈子的操劳，年近古稀的刘英（严敏求 饰）总算和老伴乔战迎来了可以安度晚年的时刻，可是一场大病不仅让这位坚忍倔强的老太太病倒，还让子女们本就烦恼不少的生活平添了许多的争吵。大女儿乔水兰（陈瑾 饰）的丈夫是一名官员，饮食无忧可是苦乐自知；大儿子乔海洋（许亚军 饰）的生意进入困局，待产的妻子身体状况频出，外忧内患；三女儿水灵（王乙竹 饰）和丈夫的生活紧迫，捉襟见肘；吃了一肚子洋墨水的小儿子乔海明（张鹰 饰）口若悬河，自以为西方文明的他早将东方的孝道观念抛在了一边。
